Charlotte Labradoodle's Guardian Program

Our Guardian Program Philosophy

We do not believe in the kenneling of the dogs we hold back for our breeding program.  We believe our breeding doddles living with families that are given proper socialization, stimulation and training, mature to be well balanced, happy, healthy pets.  The BEST possible puppies are produced by healthy, happy, socialized adult labradoodles. This is the reason we look for good families to join our Guardian Program.  This will benefit all involved; the labradoodle, the family and the breeder.

Our Guardian Program

A Guardian Home is a family that receives a top quality breeding puppy to become a member of their family and "furever" friend.  The charge for a Guardian puppy is half of the normal puppy price of $3,000 ($1500).   In exchange for a “pick of the litter labradoodle,”  the family agrees to follow the conditions set out by Charlotte Labradoodles while the puppy is in our breeding program and must live within 30 minutes of Charlotte, NC.  The Guardian family is responsible for all routine costs of owning a dog (regular vet expenses, vaccinations, heartworm, flea/tick prevention, food, training, professional grooming, etc.).  We pay for all breeding tests, semen shipment, and other related breeding expenses. When the labradoodle is retired from breeding (3 litters of puppies for females or 4 years of stud service for males) the dog will be required to be spayed or neutered at owner's expense.  The labradoodle will then continue their life with their "furever" family and will no longer be part of the Guardian Program.
